Greyhound Form Guide

IASbet.com has released a greyhound form guide, with a smooth new look that contains all the information you need to pick a winner. You can find the form guide for each greyhound race at the top of each race card, as shown below.

Once you click on the link, a new window will open up showing detailed information on each runner. You can find the amount of races they have participated in, their winnings and their last few runs all listed there. IASbet.com also gives you our tips at the top of the page under the race’s name.

This new design also allows punters to view the basic form, which as the name suggests, contains a summarised version of the full form guide. You can access this by clicking on the “View Basic Form” link at the top of the screen.

To make navigation easier between races, you can also easily jump to the next races form guide by using the “Jump to” dropdown located at the top left of the page.

Understanding the Form Guide

	This shows the races a dog has participated on in the format of “Total-1stPlace-2ndPlace-3rdPlace”. For the runner on the left, for example, this means out of 13 races, he has come in 2nd place twice and 3rd place three times.
	This shows the amount of times the runner has run this distance on this track, showing his results in the same format as the Runs. For the runner in question, he has ran here 10 times, and he has achieved 2 second places and 3 third places.
	The runners’ best time is listed here. In this case it shows “NBT”, or No Best Time, because he hasn’t yet won a race.
	The amount of money the runner has earned in winnings shown in AUD.
	This shows the amount of times the runner has started in box 2 (or the box they are starting this race in), and their results shown in the same format as the Runs. This runner has never started in box 2.

Below the main information, our form guide also includes the runners’ past race information, up to 5 races. These are listed by date starting from the most recent. Looking at the first entry, we can see that this runner came 7th in his last race. We can see all the details from that race, such as the price he was paying, the time it took the runner to finish the event, the date, the winning runner, the margin, etc.
