Head to Head / Moneyline
Line / Handicap
Each team receives a handicap of plus or minus points to make the game an even competition. A team with a minus handicap must win the event by more than the handicap for your bet to win. A team with a plus handicap can win the game or must not lose the event by more than its handicap for your bet to win. Line handicaps usually contain a ½ point i.e. 4½ so that a drawn outcome is not possible.
When a half point is not offered and the outcome is a draw (i.e. team A has a line of -5 and wins by exactly 5 points) all line bets will be refunded.
Prices for this form of betting are usually around $1.90 for both sides.

If you bet $10 on Manly on the $1.91 line at -12.5 your return will be $19.10 if Manly defeats Brisbane by 13 points or more.
Margin
Margin Betting is where you pick the winning margin on an event between two teams. Margin Betting is available on AFL, Rugby League, Rugby Union and Basketball. The margins are set by the IASbet.com bookmaker and are usually as follows:

When a Draw option is offered for Margin betting, it will exclude any extra time that might be played.
Line betting and Margin betting are often confused with each other as they both involve adding or subtracting from the official result of the game. The main difference between the two is that Line bets give teams a handicap to make the match equal, while in Margin betting you’re choosing how much you think your team will win by.
Game Totals
Totals or Game Total is the combined scores of both teams involved in a bet. You can bet whether the game will go “over” or “under” this figure.
For example a soccer market may offer a Total of 2.5 goals. If you bet “over” this figure the combined goals scored by both teams for that game must be over 2.5 (3 goals or more). If you bet “under” this figure the combined goals of both teams must be less than 2.5 (2 goals or less).

Tri Betting
Tri Bets are a specialty market similar to Margin betting. Tri Bets give you the option to choose one of the teams playing to win by more than a certain amount, or you can chose the option for ether team to win by less than the margin offered. For example, below you can see an AFL Tri Bet offering ether Fremantle or St Kilda to win by more than 15.5 points OR ether team to win by less the 15.5.

Outright / Futures
Known as Futures and Outrights. These include bet types such as the winner of the Brownlow Medal, or the winner of the English Premier League soccer season and are generally long term markets.
Please note that while matches are being played in a sport the outright markets for that sport will not be available as the outcome of these matches will impact the outright markets odds, e.g. You cannot bet on the winner of the AFL Premiership on weekends as the outcome of that rounds matches will affect the odds for the outright market.
Exotic Singles
Each type of sport on the IASbet.com site has its own unique bet types, these bets are collectively called Exotic Sports bets. These include bet types such as:
Asian Handicap betting offers value to the bettor by reducing the outcome of a Soccer match from the traditional three way ‘Home, Draw, Away’ style to an event with only two selections. The handicap is based upon the relative strengths of the two competing sides and is derived to give a roughly equal chance to both teams. The winning team is decided on the final score, after 90 minutes, (normal time), after taking the handicap into account. While Asian handicap is similar to line and Margin betting, it has been tailor made for Soccer betting and different rules such as a “Split handicap” are possible.
