Account Identification Requirements

PLEASE NOTE: As per the Anti-Money Laundering and Fraud legislation, acceptable identification must be received within 90 days of opening your account and prior to any withdrawals being requested against your account.

If you receive email notification that you are yet to confirm your identity, you have two ways of doing so.

For your convenience, Australian Residents can verify their identity online at IASbet.com in minutes. Simply log in to your IASbet.com account and click on the "Verify Me" link on the top right of the My Account page.

Alternatively, you can send IASbet.com legible certified copies of identification to the value of 100 points, as per the table below.

Once your account is registered you may request payments online, via the My Account section, or over the telephone by calling the Customer Services Team .

Note: Where you are using a credit card on your account, IASbet must receive a legible copy of both sides of the credit card (25 points). This can be used towards the 100 points of identification.

Important security for your protection: We must clearly see your Name on the card, the expiry date and the first 6 numbers and last 4 numbers on the front of your card. You may censor the middle six digits on the front of the card and cover the CCV (last three digits) on the signature panel.

To ensure that we receive clear copies of your verification documents, we recommend that you scan and email your documents to us.

Should the copies be illegible, you will be asked to re-submit your identification until all details are clearly legible. (Note: Copies of licence and credit cards should be enlarged to 200% and lightened prior to faxing.)

Please note that you will only be required to supply this information once. However, if you register additional cards on our system we will require copies of these cards as well.

We reserve the right to hold funds for 60 days and request additional ID documentation to fully verify your account, if we are not satisfied with the identification details received from the client.

40 points	Your name, photograph and signature on: Driver's Licence, Public Service Identification Card; Social Security Identification Card; Tertiary Student Identification Card.
35 points	Your name and address verified by: Current or recent employer; Security Document; Mortgage; Land or Council Rates; Land Title Records.
25 points	Your name on: Medicare Card; Mastercard; VISA Card.
25 points	Your name and address verified from: Electoral Roll; Landlord; Public Utility Records or Driver's Licence that does not have a photo.
25 points	Your name and address from: Trade or Professional Membership Records; Educational Records.
25 points	Your name, address and phone number verified from the latest copy of the directory plus phone contact on that number.
