Credit Account Terms & Conditions


Important Notice To Applicant(s) For Credit (Section 18(E)(1) Privacy Act 1988) Notice of disclosure of your credit information to a credit reporting agency. (Privacy Act 1988)

IASbet.com P/L may give information about you to a credit reporting agency, for the following purposes:
  • to obtain a consumer credit report about you, and/or
  • to allow the credit reporting agency to create or maintain a credit information file containing information about you.
The information is limited to:
  • Identity particulars - your name, sex, address (and the previous two addresses) date of birth, name of employer, and drivers licence number.
  • your application for credit or commercial credit - the fact that you have applied for credit and the amount.
  • The fact that IASbet.com P/L is a current credit provider to you.
  • loan repayments which are overdue by more than 60 days, and for which debt collection action has started.
  • advice that your loan repayments are no longer overdue in respect of any default that has been listed.
  • information that, in the opinion of IASbet.com P/L you have committed a serious credit infringement (that is, fraudulently or shown an intention not to comply with your credit obligations).
  • dishonoured cheques - cheques drawn by you for $100 or more which have been dishonoured more than once.
  • that credit provided to you by IASbet.com P/L has been paid or otherwise discharged.

Period to which this understanding applies

This information may be given before, during or after the provision of credit to you.

Statement By Applicant (s) For Credit
Please read carefully before signing. Where there is more than one applicant, each applicant must sign.

1. Giving information to a Credit Reporting Agency (Section 18E(8)(c) Privacy Act 1988)
IASbet.com P/L has informed me that it may give certain personal information about me to a credit reporting agency.

2. Access to Commercial Credit Information (Section 18L(4) Privacy Act 1988)
I/we agree that IASbet.com P/L may obtain information about me/us from a business which provides information about the commercial credit worthiness of persons for the purpose of assessing my/our application for consumer credit.

3. Access to Consumer Credit Information (Section 18K(1)(b), Privacy Act 1988)
I/we agree that IASbet.com P/L may obtain a consumer credit report containing information about me from a credit reporting agency for the purpose of assessing my/our application for commercial credit.

4. Exchange of Credit Worthiness Information (Section 18N, Privacy Act 1988)
I/we agree that IASbet.com P/L may exchange information with those credit providers named in this application or named in a consumer credit report issued by a credit reporting agency for the following purposes;
  • to assess an application by me/us for credit
  • to notify other credit providers of a default by me/us
  • to exchange information with other credit providers as to the status of this loan where I am in default with other credit providers
  • to assess my/our credit worthiness.
I /we understand that the information exchanged can include anything about my/our credit worthiness, credit standing, credit history or credit capacity that credit providers are allowed to exchange under the Privacy Act.

5. Agreement to a credit provider being given a consumer credit report by a credit reporting agency to assess a guarantor (Section 18K 1(c) Privacy Act 1988)

I/we agree that IASbet.com P/L may obtain from a credit reporting agency a consumer credit report containing information about me/us for the purpose of assessing whether to accept me/us as a guarantor for credit applied for by, or provided to, the borrower(s) [named in agreement]. I/we agree that this agreement commences from the date of this agreement and continues until the credit covered by the borrower(s) application ceases.

6. Agreement to a credit provider disclosing a report including a consumer credit report to potential or existing guarantor (Section 18K (1) Privacy Act 1988)
I/we agree that IASbet.com P/L may give to a person who is currently a guarantor, or whom I/we indicated is considering becoming a guarantor, a credit report containing information about me/us for the purpose of [name of prospective guarantor] deciding whether to act as a guarantor, or to keep [name of existing guarantor] informed about the guarantee. I/we understand that the information disclosed can include anything about my/our credit worthiness, credit standing, credit history or credit capacity that credit providers are allowed to disclose under the Privacy Act, and includes a credit report.

Terms & Conditions: Internet Credit

  1. These internet credit terms and conditions are to be read in conjunction with the IASbet.com Pty Ltd Rules & Regulations.
  2. Compliance with the Rules & Regulations is an ongoing requirement in order to maintain a Member's Betting Account.
  3. Prior to making an Internet Credit Application to IASbet, a Member must have complied with IASbet’s terms, conditions, rules & regulations. IASbet may suspend betting on, require the immediate repayment of, or terminate a Member's Betting Account if a Member ceases to comply with the terms, conditions, rules & regulations.
  4. The application for internet credit will be reviewed, approved or not approved by IASbet with the assistance of a third party credit reporting agency. Members will be notified by IASbet via email as to the result of the credit application.
  5. Where a member makes an Internet Credit Application to IASbet, the member must supply acceptable identification. Click here to see the valid forms of identification.
  6. The Member acknowledges and agrees that all personal information held by IASbet may be used or disclosed by IASbet as set out below and as permitted by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). The information may be used or disclosed:
    a. to enable us to perform its obligations to you under the Agreement;
    b. to enable us to ensure that you perform your obligations under the Agreement;
    c. to a credit reporting agency;
    d. to maintain a credit information file about you;
    e. to carry out our own credit assessment on you;
    f. for planning, research, promotion and marketing of our products and services;
    g. to organisations associated with the provision of our services, such as associated data centres, for marketing and analysis purposes;
    h. to a potential purchaser of, or investor or in, any business conducted by us;
    i. to law enforcement agencies to assist in the prevention of criminal activities."
  7. A Member warrants and represents that any information supplied by the Member in its Internet Credit Application is true, correct and complete and will remain so. A Member will, upon request by IASbet establish the truth, correctness and completeness of any information supplied by the Member in the Internet Credit Application. If the information contained in the Internet Credit Application changes at any time after the application is sent to IASbet, the Member will promptly notify IASbet of such change.
  8. Omission of and/or false information required in the Internet Credit Application and/or failure to provide the identification specified in clause 5 of these Conditions may result in IASbet refusing the application.
  9. IASbet may choose to approve or decline an Internet Credit Application at its sole discretion. If the Internet Credit Application is approved, the Member will be granted the Internet Credit. The Credit Limit approved may be less than initially applied for by the Member. IASbet will be under no obligation to disclose its reasons for declining or reducing an Internet Credit Application.
  10. The statement period ("Statement Period") for a Member Account Balance will be a period of seven (7) days ending at 11.59pm to the first Sunday from the approval of a Member's the Internet Credit Application ("Statement Date"), and every seven (7) days thereafter.
  11. The settlement period ("Settlement Period) for settling a Member Account Balance will be a period of seven (7) days ending at Sunday at 11:59pm immediately following the Statement Date with respect to wagers made by the Member and accepted by IASbet during the preceding seven (7) days during the Statement Period.
  12. The Member is required to settle the difference between any unsettled wagers made by a Member and the sum of any deposits made by the Member and unsettled winnings payable by IASbet ("Member Account Balance") during the Settlement Period.
  13. IASbet will pay winnings to Members, upon withdrawal request, via their preference of the available withdrawal options located on the My Accounts page. Withdrawals are subject to the Withdrawal Rules, as outlined in the IASbet.com Pty Ltd Rules & Regulations.
  14. Members can settle their Member Account Balance using any of the depositing options on the My Accounts page.
  15. The Member is required to pay in full their Member Account Balance within 7 days of the Statement Date.
  16. If the Member has not settled their account within a fourteen (14) day period from their oldest Statement Date with an outstanding debt, IASbet will automatically suspend the Member's account from further betting activity until the Account Balance is paid in full.
  17. If the Member has not settled their account within a twenty one (21) day period from their oldest Statement Date with an outstanding debt, IASbet may automatically institute formal debt recovery proceedings against the Member to recover the Account Balance.
  18. The Member agrees that IASbet may recover any costs which IASbet incurs in collecting the amount of an outstanding member Account Balance which the Member has failed to pay within the Settlement Period.
  19. Where a Member has not settled his/her Member Account Balance for prior Settlement Periods then those prior Settlement Periods must be settled as well.
  20. A Member may be unable to place wagers if his/her Member Account Balance at any time exceeds the Credit Facility. If IASbet in its discretion, allows a Member to place a wager even though the placement of such a wager may result in the Credit Facility being exceeded, the Member will settle his/her Member Account Balance immediately upon written notification by IASbet to do so.
  21. IASbet may terminate the Credit Facility at any time on notice to the Member and require payment of any Member Account Balance immediately thereafter.
  22. For the avoidance of doubt, it is a Members responsibility to monitor the balance of his/her Member Betting Account, and to ensure that he/she complies at all times with these Conditions.
  23. IASbet may vary these Conditions at any time by notifying the Member of any changes to these Conditions. Any bet placed by a Member after he or she has been notified of the changes will be considered as an acceptance by the Member of the changed Conditions.
  24. IASbet may, in its discretion, give conditionally or withhold any approval or consent under these Conditions.
  25. A Member may only assign its rights under these Conditions with the prior written consent of IASbet.
  26. Any term by its nature intended to survive termination of these Conditions survives termination of these Conditions.
  27. A term or part of a term of these Conditions that is illegal or unenforceable may be severed from these Conditions and the remaining terms or parts of the terms of these Conditions continue in force.
  28. IASbet does not waive a right, power or remedy if it fails to exercise or delays in exercising the right, power or remedy. A single or partial exercise of a right, power or remedy does not prevent another or further exercise of that or another right, power or remedy.
  29. These Conditions are governed by the laws of the Northern Territory and each party irrevocably and unconditionally submits to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Northern Territory.
