Justice Payout
Rules are rules, but when injustice strikes on the sports field or racetrack, every punter needs a pal to help defend their bets.
When we judge that bagging the cash just isn't right, we step in and rule in favour of punters - all bets are returned and justice is served.
The court has spoken on the following events:

IASbet refunds all bets on Dariana
Event: Queensland Oaks
We thought it was unfair that punters lose their cash on the favourite when she had absolutely no hope, so we're happy to let you know that we have refunded all win and place bets on Dariana!
Stewards declared the filly a 'runner', meaning that all wagers placed on the filly with all tote and bookmakers were losing bets.
However, IASbet.com has refunded all bets on the Queensland Oaks favourite after the Bart Cummings trained filly caught her head in an adjacent stall when the gates were released and took no part in the race.

IASbet refunds all bets on Maldivian
Event: Caulfield Cup and Cox Plate
Mark's "Mal - Sympathy" No doubt the absence of crowd favourite Maldivian in this Saturday's Caulfield Cup has somewhat soured the pre post punters who wagered on last year's Cox Plate to win a long overdue Caulfield Cup at $15.00.
However a shining light has appeared into the punters' darkness as IASbet.com bookmaker Mark Read declared that he will pay back all lost pre post bets on Maldivian, given that he 'owes the horse one'. "Ironically this horse has been an ally of mine," stated Read, "firstly he would have sent me to the cleaners had he won the Caulfield Cup although was scratched at the barriers and then he saved my skin by winning last year's Cox Plate at the big odds. Given that we may not see him again - it's the least I can do for him".

IASbet refunds all bets on Michael Schumacher
Event: FORMULA 1 European Grand Prix
IASbet salutes a champion: It was meant to be the motor racing comeback of the century, F1 legend Michael Schumacher returns for Ferrari, filling the shoes of Felipe Massa while he recovers from injury. But it was not to be. Troubled by a neck injury, he has chosen health over history and cancelled his return.
Just like his millions of fans the world over, we believe Schumi would've achieved something special in Spain. Regardless, he'll always be a champion in our book, that's why IASbet.com is refunding all bets placed on Michael Schumacher.

IASbet refunds bets on 1st Dismissal 'LBW' England
Event: Ashes 4th Test - 1st Innings
England Captain Andrew Strauss was extremely lucky to survive a first ball shout for LBW, with Kiwi umpire Billy Bowden giving it 'Not Out'. Replays showed he was plum LBW and should have been given 'Out'.
Punters who backed the 1st Dismissal Method 'LBW' were hard done by. As such, IASbet.com is refunding all bets placed on 'LBW' as the 1st method of Dismissal.

IASbet refunds all bets on Takeover Target
Event: Golden Jubilee (UK's Royal Ascot)
Aussie bookmaker backs Aussie punters: When Takeover Target was scratched on the eve of competing in the Group 1 Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot last Friday, I was part of the collective sigh of disappointment shared by Australian punters everywhere. I have a great deal of respect for Takeover Target, and I would've liked nothing more than for him to get one more chance to play hero and triumph in one of the world's most prestigious sprint races.
That's why, as an Aussie bookie who loves supporting our Aussie sport and racing heroes, I'm standing up for justice and giving all monies wagered on Takeover Target back to punters.
With the old warhorse on target to compete in the July Cup at Newmarket, along with other Aussie sprint sensation Scenic Blast, it's not hard to guess who I'll be backing...

IASbet refunds all bets on the Tie in the Most Sixes market
Event: ICC T20 World Cup - Sri Lanka v West Indies
IASbet overrules third umpire's decision: Sri Lanka may have convincingly defeated the West Indies in their ICC T20 World Cup encounter, but the devil is in the detail. And this latest moment of umpiring evil once again stole cash from my punters' pockets.
In the 17th over, West Indies batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan smashed Mendis over long-on for what looked sure to be a six, until Angelo Mathews leaped into the air with the deftness of an Olympic gazelle to take the catch. The problem, however, is that momentum carried him over the boundary rope, where he juggled, dived and then slapped the ball back into play - testing the rule book with his kamikaze acrobatics.
Most seasoned cricket fans would argue that the rules clearly state it was a six, but an eternity of replays later and the third umpire rules no six! It's another travesty of justice for punters, but I'm making it a habit to keep an eye on these video refs. As such, I'm overruling their decision and refunding all my clients who backed the Tie in Most Sixes market for this match.

IASbet refunds all 1st Try Scorer Bets on Jarryd Hayne
Event: State Of Origin Game 1
IASbet takes a crunch tackle for Punters: Just eight minutes into last night's State Of Origin encounter, NSW winger Jarryd Hayne displayed remarkable ability to dance down the touch line and score a much deserved try. This is where the story turns ugly for punters. Despite clearly being a legitimate scoring play, the video referee, who no doubt scrutinised the thousand replays from behind inch thick spectacles while reading a copy of Zoo Weekly, denies the try saying that his boot touched the sideline.
Despite being an injustice to league fans as a whole, the disgraceful decision, which has been proved incorrect by photographic evidence, also cost my clients their hard earned dollars - many of whom got on Hayne at the healthy price of $11 to score the first try of the match. That's why, as the punters' pal, I'm refunding all 1st Try Scorer bets placed on Jarryd Hayne at IASbet.com.

IASbet refunds all bets on Mickelson - now that's Justice!
Event: Byron Nelson Championship
IASbet takes a swing for Punters: As a betting man, I'm willing to wager a pretty penny that if you had money on Byron Nelson Championship favourite Phil Mickelson (priced at $9 to win) this weekend, in any shape or form, you'd be disappointed to learn that he has suspended his golf career indefinitely.
So does this mean that all bets are lost? As a pillar for Punter Justice I'll be the judge of that, and I rule that it's just not right to enforce the betting 'all-in' rule in this situation. As such, IASbet.com is refunding all bets placed on the golfing maestro.
